also, all of the dark verses are missing for the chevy commercial. and mccain tried to use it during his campaign and mellancamp was all like “please, no.”

the bottom line, it’s not really his fault. and it’s sorta funny because that whole album undermines the jingoism portrayed in the truck commercials.
